Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manager of Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance to join our team. This individual will supervise employees who install, maintain, and repair industrial processing and manufacturing equipment. This position will coordinate with manufacturing personnel and management to ensure that manufacturing equipment is maintained and in ready status. The successful candidate will ensure that machine and equipment metrics achieve a high level of performance, communicate readiness, drive execution of repair and engage a highly skilled team to customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include; to plan, design and oversee the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities as required.

Responsibilities include the following:


Lead a team of skilled technicians and electricians to drive machine and equipment performance.

Support a Predictive and Preventive Maintenance Program for machine tools and equipment.

Ensure the implementation and accuracy of the Computer Maintenance Management System.

Lead and Coordinate Root Cause and Corrective Action of machine and equipment failures.

Communicate daily status of machine downtime and repair activities.

Drive initiatives that lead to increased machine uptime performance.

Qualifications:




Basic Qualifications:

Ability to work 1st Shift-starts approximately 5:00am.

A minimum of 9 years of relevant manufacturing experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment with a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for Bachler's degree.
.
Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical systems.

A broad knowledge of environmental, health and safety regulations, including the ability to review, understand and interpret regulatory standards.

Ability to work Multiple shifts as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong Machine Tool Knowledge.

Knowledge of Maintenance Connection (CMMS)

Six Sigma Green Belt Certified or Lean Manufacturing Experience.

Experience working in a Union Environment.
