Curriculum & Content Developer

Enablement, Global

We are currently seeking a Field Enablement Curriculum & Content Developer to join Cloudera's Enablement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining our curriculum of sales and sales leader enablement curriculum, competencies and role based learning paths which cover Cloudera Data Platform and related technologies.

Job responsibilities include creating new sales curriculum courses and updating existing course materials. Product knowledge will be acquired through proactive exploration, and by working with subject-matter experts across various functions. Curriculum/Content Developer will need to be skilled at delivering training to the field and record deliveries for the use of ongoing enablement content. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, innovative, and proactive and has experience working remotely as part of a distributed team.

Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and maintain course materials across various delivery channels including virtual, in person, and online learning. Course materials include... instructional design, presentation content, hands-on exercises, assessments and certification exam scenarios, and narration scripts.

* Collaborate with members of the field enablement team, field leadership, product marketing, and other organizations to prioritize enablement content, as well as gather feedback and work with subject-matter experts on all aspects of course design and development.

* Deliver courses as needed or requested from regional sales leadership

* Record and edit video content created by both you and others on the enablement team

Qualifications

* Ability to create compelling courseware, including written materials, presentation content, hands-on exercises, and knowledge assessments

* Ability to understand technologies quickly and independently as needed to develop appropriate sales enablement content

* Ability to work collaboratively with all members of the field enablement team

* Ability to manage time effectively, to complete tasks on a deadline, and to effectively communicate project status and risks as timelines evolve

* Experience with Mindtickle

* Ability to work as part of a remote, distributed team

* Understanding of the needs of English Language Learners / International English

* Extensive Knowledge of curriculum design methodologies
