IHG Army Hotels Fort Leonard Wood is currently hiring for a full-time Houseperson (Public Space Attendant) in our Housekeeping department.  The starting rate of pay for this position is $13.00 per hour.

Your day to day

This position has overall responsibility for cleaning and maintaining public spaces throughout the hotel such as: restrooms, laundry and sitting areas, sweeping, moping, waxing floors and other duties as assigned.  You will also assist room attendants on assigned floors by collecting dirty linen, trash and taking them to the laundry/dumpster area.  At times, Housepersons may fill in as a housekeeper and help clean rooms by stripping/making beds, removing trash from rooms, lifting/moving heavy items such as: mattresses and furniture. 

What we need from you

This job requires ability to perform the following: carrying or lifting items weighing up to 75 pounds and pushing and/or pulling approximately 300 pounds, frequently standing up and moving about the facility, frequently bending, stooping and kneeling and going up/down stairs.

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule (weekends/holidays)


• Must have excellent hospitality skills


• Good communication skills


• Must be able to gain entry on Federal Military Installation
