Job Summary

The Forklift Operator utilizes a variety of mobile equipment to perform various tasks throughout the Distribution/Operations area.  You will be challenged to operate equipment safely, effectively and efficiently.  As a member of the team, you will contribute your individual skills and talents to help advance the team to meet their full potential.  To continue growing your skillset and career, training will be available to you along with the opportunity to utilize what you’ve learned through various assignments.

We offer competitive hourly rates, with a starting wage of $19.11/hr.


  • DOUBLE TIME on Sundays and holidays


  • Overtime based on business needs and is not guaranteed


  • 12-hour rotating shifts (front and back shift)


  • 7:00am-19:00pm; 19:00pm-7:00am


  • One 48-hour week and one 36-hour week each pay period

Functional Accountabilities


  • Perform work in a safe manner


  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the department and follow 5S principals


  • Operate a variety of mobile equipment


  • Change mobile equipment batteries


  • Inspect incoming trailers before unloading or loading


  • Utilize WMS to input items into storage locations


  • Perform cycle counting as requested


  • Attend required training sessions, including cGMP refresher


  • Review job specific plant procedures as required


  • Follow cGMP documentation practices


  • Complete required documentation


  • Deliver documentation to appropriate place or person(s)


Basic Qualifications


  • High school diploma or equivalent


  • 1-year verifiable working experience


  • Must be 18 years or older


  • Must be able to pass a background check


  • Ability to pass Virtual Job Tryout (VJT) Assessment

  • Basic computer skills


Preferred Qualifications


  • Basic understanding, support and execution of continuous improvement principles and tools


  • Previous lift operations experience


  • Basic troubleshooting skills
