We are looking for a full time Project Coordinator Order Management at our Headquarters in Olathe, Kansas. In this role, you will be responsible for handling all tasks assigned by the Project Manager or Program Manager, working synergistically with other Team Members and complying with company regulations, and being a good brand ambassador. The Project Coordinator Order Management should also be able to communicate effectively at all levels and escalate issues appropriately. Outstanding candidates are willing to assist wherever possible and often fill roles that fall outside of their area of expertise when required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Executing all tasks assigned by the Program or Project Manager, diligently, on schedule, and to Garmin standards
Working with Global team members and Teams to organize, document and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly team matrix
Particiapte in meetings and voice concerns as well as suggestions for improvement
Answering or escalating concerns and queries from clients or other stakeholders
Completing a range of tasks ranging from reporting, analysis of business processes and procedures, consolidating reports, research, gathering data for analysis
Attending workshops and training sessions.
Effectively managing your time by prioritizing urgent tasks.
Demonstrates proficient use and knowledge of established standards and procedures
Consistently demonstrates quality and effectiveness in work documentation and organization
Holds project team associates accountable for deliverables, including the coordination of resources assigned to projects for which he/she is responsible without direct authority
Professionally approach situations in which conflict is present
Attends and actively participates in department and facility meetings and classes
Demonstrates commitment to quality through knowledge of its precepts, skillful workplace applications and continuous organizational improvement
Contributes to technical research on new technologies
Perform other duties as necessary
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in project definition activities including feature analysis and system tradeoffs
Must possess a willingness and flexibility for domestic and/or international travel (15% of time or greater) that will be required for Discovery and Implementation timeframes.
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s Degree AND 3 years relevant experience OR 7 years total equivalent combination of education and relevant experience in a substantially similar role
Previous experience working in a high-paced, Global team setting
Demonstrated ability to apply learned knowledge
Must demonstrate advanced proficient understanding of project management principles/methodologies and possesses a demonstrated ability to adapt PM practices to meet business climate and needs
Demonstrated experience with a proven track record in successful implementation of solutions
Must be detail-oriented and work proactively and effectively with minimal supervision
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and changing environment
Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a large team, as well as a departmental and Global setting
Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
Self-starter with a positive attitude
