We are looking for a full-time IT Project Manager for our headquarters in the greater Kansas City area. In this role you will be responsible for managing medium to large projects of average to significant complexity and develops projects plans with inter-department dependencies and multi-phased deliverables. This would be workign with projects for subscription managment. Projects that would be, for example, how we store customer data, how a user retrieves their account details, their order statues, etc. Other essential functions include:
Manages medium to large projects of average to significant complexity and develops projects plans with inter-department dependencies and multi-phased deliverables
Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
Gathers and reports project status to internal and mid-level management business owners
Identifies more advanced interdependencies in projects
Makes substantial contributions to determining feasibility of goals/objectives
Participate in project definition activities including feature analysis and system tradeoffs
Develops and leads project management process improvements
Provides reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques
Serves as a mentor to less experienced Project Managers (Project Manager 1)
Demonstrates proficient use and knowledge of established standards and procedures
Consistently demonstrates quality and effectiveness in work documentation and organization
Holds project team members accountable for deliverables, including the coordination of resources assigned to projects for which he/she is responsible without direct authority
Professionally approaches situations in which conflict is present
Understands change is important and adapts well
Contributes to technical research on new technologies
Attends and actively participates in department and facility meetings and classes.
Actively participates in and encourages others to utilize creative and innovative approaches to accomplishing tasks
Demonstrates commitment to quality through knowledge of its precepts, skillful workplace applications and continuous organizational improvement.

Qualified candidates possess a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business or another substantially similar field AND 5 years work experience performing a substantially similar role OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience in a substantially similar role. Other requirements include:
Outstanding academics with the demonstrated ability to apply learned knowledge
Must demonstrate advanced proficient understanding of project management principles/methodologies and possesses a demonstrated ability to adapt PM practices to meet business climate and needs
Expereince with eCommerce or Account Management
Demonstrated experience with a proven track record in successful implementation of technology solutions
Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work proactively and effectively with minimal supervision
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and changing environment
Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a large team or departmental setting
Experience with automated testing tools and testing procedures
Experience with and understanding of web-based concepts and processes
Strong understanding of Infrastructure and Security concepts and processes
