We are seeking a File Sharing Collaboration Project Manager/Product Owner who will manage Garmin’s File Sharing Collaboration Tools strategy and roadmap, including related policy rollout, implementations, enhancements, and security/compliance activities. In this role, you will gain an understanding of Garmin’s global File Sharing Collaboration tools’ footprint and provide vision for the internal and external collaboration technology strategy. Leveraging that understanding, you will help formulate plans, define policies, communicate and implement solutions in support of the roadmap and strategy.
Essential Functions:
Partner with IT and business stakeholders to determine Garmin’s File Sharing Collaboration Tools’ roadmap and serve as functional subject matter expert for application/technology solutions within Garmin
Coordinate File Sharing Collaboration technology project definition and execution activities involving internal and external parties, and various IT groups, such as Security/Compliance, Architecture, Infrastructure, ERP, and Web teams.
Gather, document and effectively communicate file sharing strategy, policy and standards.
Work closely across project teams, including multiple stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and deliverables are aligned with long-term business and project objectives.
Provide reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques
Identify and manage gaps of how internal and external teams use File Sharing Collaboration tools
Ensure resources and projects are established to deliver the desired end state for Garmin.
Deliver program status and summary program information to all levels of the business including the executive level
Manage dependencies from other teams both business and IT
Collaborate directly with co-located and remote technical team members and business clients
Demonstrated capability to be a diplomat, interacting and negotiating with high-level business managers and stakeholders at varying levels of Garmin’s business
Motivates and drives accountability of project teams, other project managers and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of programs and projects, including coordination of resources assigned to projects for which he/she is responsible without direct authority
Actively participates in and encourages others to utilize creative and innovative approaches to accomplish tasks.

Qualified candidates possess a Master of Science Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business or another substantially similar field AND 2 years work experience performing a substantially similar role OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience in a substantially similar role. Project management in an Agile environment
File sharing collaboration technology experience, such as MS Teams, Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint, Shared Drive, and Dropbox Etc...
Strong understanding of Infrastructure and Security concepts and processes
Experience with and understanding of enterprise business applications (Document management, contract management and ERP) concepts and processes
Experience at authoring and maintaining policies, standards and procedures.
Experience with SDLC process
Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Payment Card Industry (PCI), Data Privacy or other compliance programs.
Experience successfully coordinating large scale globally based projects to move, add, and/or change aforementioned underlying technologies.
