Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has just become available for a Program Director of Nuero Stroke in the Greater Washington DC/Maryland area at an innovative short-term acute care hospital. 

The Program Director Neuro Stroke will work for a hospital system that is part of a larger, nationwide health system.  This beautiful hospital offers all patients beautiful private rooms and prides itself on delivering exceptional patient care.  This medical facility prides itself on its environmental impact boasting an energy efficient design and green space. 

The Director Neuro Stroke will report to the CNO and have direct over site and responsibility over a busy 30+ bed unit.  The ideal candidate for this position will be an excellent nurse leader and team player with prior Hospital Leadership experience as a Nurse Manager of Neurology, Stepdown, or Nurse Manager of Telemetry experience. 

The Program Director of Neurology will be responsible for mentoring and developing positive relationships with the department managers and other hospital Nurse Directors and developing strategies to deliver quality outcomes in patient satisfaction, core measures, fiscal management, employee satisfaction and retention, and overall quality management.
