Janitor at Penn-Mar Human Services in Glen Rock, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

The Janitor is responsible for the general cleaning and related sanitation functions for all Administrative buildings in Penn-Mar Human Services and other location as deemed appropriate.  The Janitor is responsible for all general cleaning functions to ensure a safe, sanitary and professional environment for both the staff and individuals we support. 

This job is inclusive of, but not excluded to the following duties:

• General cleaning, mopping, and vacuuming of all common areas.


• Collection and disposal of all trash and refuse.


• Cleaning and vacuuming of all administrative and programmatic areas.


• Disinfecting, sweeping and mopping all lavatory areas.


• Cleaning all coffee stations, break rooms and training spaces including microwaves, tables, sink counters and refrigerators.

Qualifications:

• Minimum High School Diploma/ G.E.D.


• 3-5 years of housekeeping or janitor experience required.


• Acceptable criminal background.


• Valid Driver's License with 2 yrs. of consecutive driving experience.


• Ability to pass pre-employment Drug Screen/ Physical/ Mantoux Test (PPD, TB).
