Job Description:

Cognizant is seeking a strong ServiceNow Developer for an immediate need. This is a client-facing role & the candidate will have regular interactions with various client managers. 

“Remote Candidates will be considered, however must be willing to relocate post Covid”

 

Job Description :  

• 5+ years of software engineering with experience in DevOps or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS)


• 3-5+ years’ experience with frontend frameworks such as AngularJS


• 3-5+ years’ SNO development experience – integrations, APIs, scripts, customizations


• Experience with PowerShell, SSH, REST and other automation scripting languages/tools


• At least 2-3 years of ServiceNow development experience


• 5+ years of development experience with object-oriented programming languages


• Strong knowledge of JavaScript programming language with HTML, CSS and basic web programming


• Ability to work and collaborate effectively on a sprint-based software development team


• Experience using Confluence and Jira for documentation


• Experience automating tests using Automated Testing Framework (ATF)


• Experience using GIT Repositories for tracking changes in any set of files, originally designed for coordinating work among team members collaborating on source code during software development.


• Strong oral and writing communications as well as presentation skills


• Experience with other ITOM Skills is plus.


• A University degree in Computer Science or a similar field is not required but is a big plus, will spend most of your time on the automation of manual tasks for the building and deployment of both code and data, will consult on a number of projects as well as lead solution design session and ServiceNow integration efforts, will also train, supervise, and coordinate junior DevOps engineers, develop operations processes, implement new software deployment strategies, and conduct professional software testing when needed.
