Customer Service Representative at Advanced Group in Glenview, Illinois

Job Description:

Our client located in Glenview is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team. The Customer Service Representative sees orders through to completion and manages the order entry while providing great customer service.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Pay: $24.00/hr-$25.00/hr
Location: Hybrid in Glenview (split time onsite and working from home)

Responsibilities:

-Provide resolutions to customers inquire by answering inbound calls, emails and tickets from online help desk system.

-Accurately process customer orders and issue credits. Enter special customer requirements as specified on orders.

-Verify order, pricing, and delivery expectations.

-Follow progress of orders and communicate with customers as needed.

-Coordinate with internal company departments and sales organization when necessary.

-Analyze individual solutions and take appropriate action to ensure customer needs are met.

-Develop proficiency with customer data base to manage customer' files, process and invoice orders and respond to customer inquiries.

-Exceeds customer expectations by delivering exceptional customer service.

-Any other duties assigned in support of the customer service function.

Requirements:

-2+ years of customer service experience.

-Proficiency in Salesforce (or similar CRM), and Microsoft Office Suite.

-Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to multitask.

-Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).

-Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.

-Experience with export order/shipping preferred but not required.
