As a Technician II, you will provide Desktop, Laptop, Monitor, and Printer Break/Fix support and remediation during normal business hours. You may also provide server and network storage support, as needed.

Job Responsibilities:


* Remediate all hardware related incident tickets that are initiated by the customer for their employees on site


* Coordinate with Manufacturers and Vendors on the delivery of replacement parts to remediate issues related to hardware still under warranty


* Request parts from the customer to remediate issues related to hardware no longer under warranty


* Install and troubleshoot software and operating systems of the customer's hardware as directed


* Provide updates and status of tickets as requested by the customer and ePlus management

Job Knowledge/Skills:


* Strong Microsoft Windows


* HP support


* Dell support


* LAN/WAN


Education and Experience:


* High School Diploma


* 5 to 7 years of desktop support experience, preferably in a corporate environment


* Familiar with using ticketing systems such as Remedy and Siebel, as well as the ability to adapt to customers' proprietary ticketing systems


* MCP certification preferred


Physical Demands of Job:


* Physically move or relocate Desktops, Monitors, Laptops, Printers, and Servers as needed.


Physical Requirements of Position:


Ability of finger dexterity to be used primarily to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects or pinching fingers together. Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands and / or fingers. Speech ability must be at a level where one must convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly or quickly. Hearing ability must be at a level to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information. Visual ability must be average with ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery. Physical strength for sedentary work with sitting most of the time. May have to exert or lift up to 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally.
