OPPORTUNITY: We are a Foodservice cup forming / folding carton manufacturing operation seeking candidates to join ourClarksville, TN team. This job posting is for aMaintenance Mechanic with a pay range of23.10 to26 /hour plus shift differential and progressive pay increases. KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES


Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on RENNCO cup packagers and carton sealing.


Perform preventive maintenance of Paper Machinery (PMC) and Sherwood Tool cup forming machines.


Perform preventive maintenance and repair of carton sealer and related conveying equipment.


Properly and accurately, complete all required records keeping, ordering and other necessary paperwork.


Proper use and adherence to Lockout\Tagout Procedures.


Must follow precise instructions and directions.


Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.


Perform other duties as directed.


Practice good housekeeping.


Obey all safety rules, regulations and policies.


Perform tool changeovers on PMC and Sherwood cup forming machines.






Required Skills


Vocational school in related subjects desired; demonstrated mechanical ability; six months or more related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Regularly required to stand for long periods; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools and controls;reach with hands and arms.


Good handgrip strength is required.


Good hand-eye coordination is essential.


Frequently required to climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl.


Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.


Work near moving mechanical part, and occasionally in outside weather conditions.


Exposed to high room temperatures and humidity.


Exposed to and/or inhale fumes and/or airborne particles from cleaning fluids, mineral oil, synthetic gear oils, paint and Isopropyl Alcohol.


Exposed to machine parts operating at extremely high temperatures.
