Summary
Position Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse, under the direction of a registered nurse, provides supportive and restorative care to patients, reinforces the patient and family teaching program, and administers medications and treatments according to policies and procedures and standards of the nursing practice. The LPN assists the RN in the assessment process by gathering and reporting relevant data and observations and assists in the evaluation process by observing and reporting patients' responses to intervention.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: Graduation from a MSBON accredited licensed practical nursing program preferred.

License/Certifications: Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the Maine State Board of Nursing required.

Experience: 1+ year of nursing experience.
