A week in the life of a Cyber-Intel Analyst:
Perform required DoD RMF (Risk Management Framework) process steps.
Update and maintain RMF package documentation.
Provide support for security vulnerability mitigations, POA&M's, and IAVM's.
Provide technology assessment, system development and cybersecurity compliance by working with the system engineers and development teams to ensure developed solutions adhere to DoD RMF Cybersecurity compliance requirements.
Provide requirements analysis by working with development teams to analyze requirements for existing and proposed capabilities meet DoD RMF requirements.
Provide operational and technical support by reviewing and suggesting recommended changes to system operational policies.
Provide support to the system design engineering and development teams at the earliest possible stages of system development to ensure Cybersecurity concepts have been applied or advise additional actions necessary to achieve compliance.

Job Requirements
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification within 6 months of hire. (CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification)
Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, Cyber Security, or management information systems
Minimum 2 of years of experience in Cyber Operations
Work well in a virtual team
Manage time in a virtual environment
Commitment to continuous improvement of people, processes, and tools
Excellent communication skills - speaking and writing
Proficiency with Cyber Security Tools such as ACAS, SPLUNK, eMASS
Proficiency with MS Office suite
Ability to learn and use MS SharePoint and MS Teams
Ability to identify and use data to detect trends and adjust policies and practices to promote improvement
Understanding of the Risk Management Framework for DoD
Knowledge of Federal Government cybersecurity policy (DoDI 8500.01)
Experience with IAVM reporting and mitigations and POAM writing and management
Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Basic understanding of cloud computing
Knowledge of Windows Operating System platform
Working knowledge of ITIL service delivery framework
