Strategic Solutions Management Consultants (SSMC) is a full-service medical billing and practice management firm offering a comprehensive, sophisticated approach to private practice physicians, and physician and hospital networks. Strategic Solutions expertise goes beyond traditional transactional billing. Their team of consultants, coders, and billers provide critical insights for their providers.

Local and remote candidates are encouraged to apply! Strategic Solutions requires a MINIMUM of 50 Mbps down on high speed, low latency internet for remote work.

The Medical Biller will be responsible for providing direct billing services to their assigned clients, which may include provider offices, hospitals, and other facilities. They will act as a primary resource for billing support, submission of claims, statement management, reporting and other duties as assigned or requested. Billers are required to meet work quality and productivity standards, to ensure outstanding client service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED required


• Minimum one (1) year of customer service experience preferred


• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred


• Knowledge of medical billing and/or collections preferred


• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel preferred


• Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills


• Demonstrated ability to pro-actively identify problems, as well as recommend and/or implement effective solutions


• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and develop relationships both internally and externally


• Demonstrated ability to work with and maintain confidential information


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Flexibility to adapt to a changing and fast-paced environment
