Job Description:

Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Solution Architect who will be responsible to assess the client current security architecture, look for gaps and missing controls and help define future state architecture.

Required Qualifications:

•    13+ years of overall experience in Information Technology and engineering.

•    12+ years of progressive information security experience across various information security information technology risk management domains 

•    AWS & Azure experience – Security & Infrastructure

•    Familiar with cloud security controls: AWS Security Hub, Config, GuardDuty, Macie, and AWS Firewall Manager; and, Azure Security Center 

•    Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization and security

•    Ability to maintain proficiency in vulnerability and threat management best practice

•    Ability to develop and implement security procedures and controls

•    Extensive knowledge of NIST framework, CSF framework, CIS. Experience deploying, managing or developing processes in one of these frameworks is preferred

•    Excellent communication skills, which includes the Ability to interact with a broad cross-section of personnel to explain and enforce security measures

•    Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures

Responsibilities:

•    Document security architecture and standards used for APIs for approval by Cyber Security and Risk Compliance team 

•    Liaise with client security team to perform Threat Assessment/ Threat modeling of the solution in scope 

•    Identify threats and associated security controls in collaboration with client security team

•    Propose a secure reference architecture that incorporates these controls, discuss with client security team and implement the architecture upon approval.

•    Client security team to implement necessary security controls. In case client requests security controls to be implemented by Cognizant, appropriate efforts and costs need to be finalized through the change control process.

•    Implement solutions using client security standards and best practices where needed

•    Ability to design complex systems that impact multiple infrastructure domains across IT Operations and Development teams while accounting for security considerations.

•    Broad understanding of infrastructure, application, network, and cloud security.

Nice to have experience:

•    Provide strong expertise in Cybersecurity support including compliance driven initiatives

•    Document the security architecture and architectural decisions related to security

•    Stay abreast of security trends and new technologies that will enhance client’s current and future data security architecture

•    Responsible for leading and directing security implementation throughout the system development lifecycle across the complete stack (i.e. physical, data, network, transport, session, presentation, and application) for both Cloud (predominately) and remaining on-prem
