Job Description:
JOB PURPOSE
The Clinical Dietitian is responsible for providing patient care and/or education to patients and/ or families and serves as a liaison between Clerical and Food Service functions within the facility.
LEVEL OF EDUCATION
Minimum: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred: Master's Degree
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Minimum: Registered Dietitian Eligible with acquisition of RD credential within 6 months of hire; Food Handlers Card
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum: Basic Computer Skills to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Preferred: Experience with Nutrition related Software (i.e. Computrition, CBORD, Geri-menu)
YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum: Completed American Dietetic Association accredited internship
Preferred: 2 or more years of experience
