1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Collaborate with customer Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Operations team to execute new model program rack fleet deliverables according to established program launch milestones


• Review purchase order requisitions for accuracy and completeness and formally approve for advancement in approval chain


• Initiate follow up with program engineers, rack and dunnage fabricators, purchasing and part suppliers related to delivery timing for new model fabricated rack deliveries


• Assist in resolving operational issues


• Track project spending; add new projects and log any foreseen risks/open issues/opportunities


• Reconcile projects weekly/monthly to ensure funding is accurately accounted for and project balances are correct


• Perform detailed variance analysis and relevant insights into root cause


• Update customer tracking system and department metrics weekly for management review


• Manage and complete special projects as needed

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience


• Knowledge of all modes of domestic and international transportation, including an understanding of comparative differences between various modes and the effects of those differences


• Understanding of TMS, WMS and manifesting software as it relates to logistics applications


• Thorough knowledge of common logistics-related documentation, including bill of lading, standard claims forms, MSDS, commercial invoice, Shipper's Letter of Instruction, export filing, etc.


• Understanding of concepts that affect transportation costs and transit times, seasonal capacity, air/ocean, transit time requirements, freight handling characteristics, priority/expedited, etc.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• 1 year of experience in the field of global logistics management
