As a Senior Retention Representative , you are part of an elite team of experts responsible for providing an exceptional experience to Prudential’s customers and distribution partners. While assisting those customers with their unique financial needs, you will receive a comprehensive introduction to the financial industry through an extensive training program that allows associates to develop technical expertise, process knowledge and develop a solid foundation of Prudential’s life insurance products.

The professional skills you receive will prepare you to explore opportunities in all areas of the organization such as Coaching & Training, Team Leadership, Product Design, Underwriting, Marketing and Sales & Distribution.  This position is eligible for remote work and is open to all US locations.  

The primary responsibilities Include: 


  • Communicates daily with customers and field representatives on the benefits of life insurance by providing a world class customer experience. Provides Prudential customers information related to the benefits and features of their life insurance policy and other Prudential products.

  • Builds relationships and trust through compliant client communications.

  • Maintains an up to date knowledge of products and sales techniques based on business need, job duties and industry changes.

  • Retains current business through reeducating customers on their policies and explaining options available to them versus surrenders.

  • On occasion participates in outbound calls.

  • Associate is required to maintain stated performance objectives including conservation rate, quality, and call handle time standards.

   Prudential offers an extensive training program, which includes: 


  • Paid training (Both Classroom and Online) for your FINRA Series 6 and 63 (please note that due to these licenses, we do run a credit check in our background check process)

  • All registration fees and materials paid by Prudential.

  • 12 week paid training on Prudential's life insurance products, systems and procedures.

  • Continuing education credentials paid by Prudential.

  • Ongoing coaching and career development including individual and group coaching sessions, opportunities to participate in mentorship programs, and paid personal development time each year.

            

Hours: 

  • The hours of operation for the Customer Value Center are 9:00am to 5:00pm ET. Upon completion of training, hours maybe anywhere during these hours, depending on business need.

Expertise we are looking for you to bring: 


  • Demonstrated problem solving ability and committed to owning a customer’s experience from start to finish.  

  • Excellent verbal and written skills and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

  • Outstanding active listening skills and the ability to engage customers to determine their unique financial needs and preferences.

  • Proficient PC skills with ability to multi-task between computer applications. 

We also prefer, but do not require:


  • Knowledge of life insurance products, or other experience in the Financial Industry.

  • A college degree or relevant work experience

  • FINRA registration for Series 6 & 63 (Variable) Series 6 (NASD) and Series 63 . If not currently registered, registration must be obtained within 180 days of hire and kept active by following the established renewal and Continuing Education guidelines.

*Note: Prudential is required by Colorado law to include the salary range for this role when hiring a Colorado resident.

Salary range specific to Colorado: $44,300 - $60,100 + discretionary incentive bonus + benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
