Job Description
Provide guard duty services in support of our client (typically DoD) activities. This position is temporary and expected to last through September.
- Provide general guard support to government (DoD) clients
- Provide escort services to non-cleared personnel
- Maintain security and service logs
- Maintain physical security of equipment
- Inspect security containers on a routine basis
- Issue classified equipment to authorized personnel
- Ask pre-screening questions to individuals entering government facilities
Job Requirements
As a guard must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Maintain appropriate level security clearance (contract dependent)
- Generally, physically fit; able to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods of time to include evening hours, as well as working in and outdoors in all types of weather conditions
- Maintain a valid driver's license and a 36-month clean driving record
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
