| General Statement of Responsibilities: | |||||||
| Formulates, maintains and monitors the execution of the plant master production schedule which is established based on customer requirements and forecasts, plant manufacturing capabilities and desired inventory levels in conjunction with the company's business plan parameters. | |||||||
| Essential Duties (Other duties may be assigned as necessary) | |||||||
| 1) | Develops the plant master production schedule necessary to effectively accomplish the goals established by the Business Plan and provide the best service possible to customers. | ||||||
| 2) | Coordinates the execution of the master production schedule with component schedulers, production supervision, and Business Unit Managers. | ||||||
| 3) | Loads the plant to avoid overloading production capacity in specific work centers. | ||||||
| 4) | Assists management in analyzing ramifications of business decisions pertaining to plant loading. | ||||||
| 5) | Prepares information based on current production requirements for use in forecasting and establishing optimal inventory levels. | ||||||
| 6) | Develops, maintains and monitors compliance with all master production schedule policies and procedures. | ||||||
| 7) | Is expected to produce consistent quality work in conformance with Company requirements and standards. | ||||||
| 8) | Support the Plant quality systems goals / improvements & productivity goals / improvements within the scope of the job. | ||||||
| 9) | Support the Plant safety programs / goals within the scope of the job. | ||||||
| 10) | Regular and predictable attendance. | ||||||
| 11) | Develops and maintains strong relationships with internal and external customers. | ||||||
| 12) | Identifies, investigates, and resolves inventory shortages. | ||||||
| 13) | Serves as customer service liason with NTN-Bower external customers. | ||||||
| 14) | The Master Scheduler is responsible for the accuracy and the maintenance of the MPS and determining PO delivery dates. | ||||||
| 15) | Develop best possible delivery dates for customer demand based on material, capacity, and manpower availability. Also supports the quoting and sample process with leadtime and delivery information. | ||||||
| 16) | Compliance to applicable Company, Corporate, State, and Federal Regulations. |
