Job Purpose


The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for the oversight of the candidate journey at EnerSys throughout North America. This individual will work closely with the Talent Acquisition team and the Hiring Manager to provide a great candidate experience throughout the recruiting and onboarding process.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Assist the Talent Acquisition Team with recruiting tasks such as scheduling interviews and processing offer letters. May assist with recruiting some positions as needed.

  • Process pre-employment screening upon offer acceptance to include background checks, reference checks and drug screening.

  • Initiate onboarding and provide support to the New Hire and Hiring Manager throughout the process.

  • Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the onboarding process. Work closely with the HRIS team to come to a resolution.

  • Ensure tasks are being completed within the onboarding system in a timely manner to prevent any delays.

  • Work closely with the HRIS team to ensure documents are up to date within the onboarding system. This includes maintaining compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Coordinate relocation assistance for the New Hire.

  • Manage the I9/e-verification process for all locations to ensure employment work authorization.

  • Work closely with our immigration counsel to obtain and manage work visas.

  • Work closely with the Hiring Manager to ensure New Hire activities have been finalized to include equipment and office is ready for first day, announcement has been prepared, goals have been assigned, and team meetings are scheduled.

  • Orient Corporate New Hires on their first day to include completion of the I9 verification.

  • Conduct monthly New Hire orientations for the Corporate and Field hires.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications



  • Previous experience in recruiting and onboarding.

  • Knowledge of HR employment laws and regulations.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and relevant HRIS/ATS systems.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Team player and excellent customer service skills.

  • Process improvement mindset.
