The Client Service Specialist's primary role includes developing and maintaining a rapport with clients and prospects, as well as keeping them engaged in the process by continually monitoring and directing the flow of projects and facilitating progress on project goals. The Client Service Specialist will be responsible for assisting the Division in meeting its goals through participating in sales and service efforts.

Responsibilities/Duties
Assist Relationship Managers with new acquisition of new prospects and the cross sell and service of clients.
Manage Business Banking daily overdraft decisions.
Overall support of credit management and relationship management team and the most profitable Business Banking customers.
Oversee and direct each stage of a prospect/client project. Be the focal point for client service issues and possess knowledge of loan, deposit and cash management products to suggest to recognize cross sell when appropriate.
Maintain client relationship in FirstClass by updating in advance of all-company weekly review meetings to ensure all prospect, client and projects are current.
Specialist will interface with the Loan Administration department regarding pre-closing and post-closing documentation.
Specialist will assist credit analysts in the ordering of pertinent information used in the underwriting process, i.e. credit bureau reports, property and business asset searches, D&B reports, and other investigative reports as requested.
Order appraisals, process daily draws, maintain client interactions, pay downs, and closings.
Coordinate and execute on assignments established during internal and client meetings.
Resolve client issues of payments and escalate issues that can't be resolved.
Coordinate, create and confirm both internal strategy meetings and external prospect/client meetings.
Develop and prepare specific market plan to individual prospects, including pitch book preparation.
The Regional Business Banker, the Credit Analyst and the Client Service Specialist compile and prepare all proposals and term sheets to support the Business Banking departments' marketing efforts. Work directly with clients in the collection of financial statements and prepare them for analyzation.
Drive Regional Business Banking in all aspects of client service.
Generate and audit monthly/quarterly reports. Prepare management reports.
Formulate and execute operating practices that improve overall efficiency of Business Banking.
All other duties as assigned.
DECISION MAKING:
The Client Service Specialist will determine the areas for business prospects, research companies and put a plan together to actively solicit companies with the Regional Business Bankers. The Specialist will recommend additional deposit services to increase fee income for the bank.
Essential Functions
While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures via a computer terminal. The incumbent will be expected to retrieve files, compose memorandums and communicate with internal and external customers.
Knowledge - Skills & Abilities
High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor degree preferred.
Three years related work experience.
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information

Effective verbal and listening communications skills, organizational skills, written communication skills.
Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
