Seeking a Software Configuration Management Supervisor for the team responsible for content management and coordination of vehicle projects. The position requires a passion for leading a team and maintaining processes while collaborating with stakeholders from the Engine, Aftertreatment and Transmission teams.

Division Information

The PACCAR Technical Center provides engineering excellence to the truck, engine, and winch divisions of PACCAR Inc through innovative product development and testing.This position is located in beautiful Skagit Valley - Mount Vernon, WA.

Job Functions / Responsibilities


  • Lead a team responsible for managing software and calibration content for multiple vehicle components and coordination of vehicle projects

  • Set the direction for the team in alignment with PACCAR development and running business programs initiatives

  • Evaluate existing processes for vehicle system updates and drive improvements to address gaps

  • Contribute to new business initiatives and projects to review impact to existing software configuration management system and resources

  • Foster an atmosphere of teamwork while also ensuring personal ownership and commitment to product quality

  • Work collaboratively with PACCAR development, validation, running business teams and actively promotes cross-division teamwork and overcomes cultural and communication barriers

Qualifications


  • BS degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant project/process management and leadership

  • Previous technical leadership experience in an engineering environment desired

  • Experience with portfolio management

  • Experience leading and implementing quality initiatives

  • Passion for continuous improvement and working with teams

  • Experience with project management

  • Effective communicator and collaborator in a multi-cultural environment

  • Excellent time management

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, comfortable presenting to senior managers

  • Ability to travel up to 15%

Education

Bachelors degree in relevant field.
