Reporting to the Director, EHS & Facilities, this hands-on role supports the Director of EHS & Facilities and the global real estate/ facility/ EH& S team. The portfolio consists of over 38 locations and approximately 1.0 M square feet of real estate. The annual budget is nearly $2.5M and a capital projects budget up to $15-20 M.
Primary Job Functions:
Supports the Project Management, coordination and delegation for Real Estate Optimization efforts. This includes leading the negotiation of real estate renewals, relocations and potential site closures.
Assists Facilitates and participates in projects with Site Leader organization across the globe.
Assists with safety and environmental compliance initiatives to maintain compliance with national, and local regulations.
Aids 3D Systems and the Director of EHS & Facilities in the planning of new business requirements (consolidation, expansion, line rearrangements) in line with strategic business objectives
Supports the company safety policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory, national and local regulations.
Assist and help with the supervision of all vendor activities at shared service sites and support other locations as needed. These service include, but not limited to cleaning, landscaping, operations, repairs and maintenance, office supply areas, painting, plant services, sprinklers, HVAC, electrical, fire control panels, security card access.
Consults and collaborates with vendor partners to ensure all are complying with scope of work and obligations per contracts
Ensures performance and safety standards are met for third-party vendors
Assist with managing new vendors as needed, preparing scope of work, interfacing with strategic sourcing to procure services to identify and justify sourced selections, monitors performance to meet cost and schedule.
Maintains working knowledge of new developments in the industry and government regulations.
Plans and implements programs to train managers and employees in work site safety practices, fire prevention, proper use of personal protective equipment, and correct handling techniques for chemicals, toxins, equipment, and other materials.
Inspects organization facilities to detect existing or potential incidents and health hazards.
Assist with EH&S audit and certification programs including third-party and annual self-audits. Monitors progress on any remediation steps or findings.
Make site visits when necessary to conduct audits or observations related to environmental, health, safety issues
Education and Training:
Bachelor's degree preferred or at least 3-8 years of combined professional experience in the areas of Corporate Real Estate, Facility Management, Project Management and/or EHS.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years related experience in commercial lease administration, facility management and or corporate real estate.
Working for a global company in a matrix reporting environment
