Responsibilities

As a Senior Performance Engineerfor John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group located in Urbandale, IA, you will develop solutions that accelerate the verification of agriculture products. You will utilize Software-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-Loop simulators as well as John Deere machines to deliver system level test case automation.

• Create novel test case automation solutions.
• Provide feedback, instruction, and development guidance to help others automate tests using state-of-the-art simulation frameworks, tools, and machines.
• Partner with simulation and automation tool developers, other performance engineers, test technicians, and verification champions to deliver system level test case automation solutions.
• Implement, monitor, and maintain continuous integration testing of the tech stack.
• Automate tests using state-of-the-art simulation frameworks, tools, and machines.

What Skills You Need

• Expertise in Python and at least one other programming language.
• Demonstrated experience in embedded electronics verification or development techniques and tools.
• Demonstrated experience with design or testing of control systems.
• Demonstrated experience with CAN communication.

What Makes You Stand Out

• Exposure to precision agriculture products.
• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
• Exposure to Agile development methodology
• ISTQB Certified Foundation Level Tester

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent related work experience.
