Sr Stylist & Coordinator at Evine in Eden Prairie, Minnesota

Job Description:

OVERVIEW

This position will execute the Creative Services & ShopHQ’s Brand/Product styling. This position will work closely with the Creative team and Sr. Photographers and Producers to concept, gather supplies, lead styling set-up and style photography/videography shoots to support TTVs, print pieces, shoots for several merchandising categories and various other company initiatives.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Idea conception with Art Directors, Sr. Photographer or Content Producers


• Supervise all product shots and studio work to check the details in the styling of product and work it back to the brand/event directions.


• Source and book freelance stylist help as needed


• Manage stylist prep area and keep items stocked as needed


• Lead set styling/prepping including but not limited to steaming of items, prepping food


• Source and Procure props


• Install and strike set dressing / styling elements


• Model dressing/styling and basic make-up application


• Prop house management/organization


• Schedule, assign tasks and manage studio cleaning duties


• Location product and prop check in and prep


• Truck loading/unloading for location shooting


• Manage schedules with project manager


• Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Associate degree (A.A.), or equivalent experience


• 5 + years of visual styling experience (fashion, tabletop, lifestyle environments) required


• Previous experience managing a team preferred


• Ability to communicate conceptual ideas based on design principles


• Extensive experience in visual arts required


• Ability to showcase a variety of product offerings and be able to work in a fast paced production environment


• Knowledge of file handling and basic Photoshop/Lightroom/Capture Pro abilities


• Ability to lift 30+lbs and help manage and maintain prop storage area


• Organization skills and ability to stay on task while juggling multiple projects.
