Job Description:

Job Responsibilities

• Establish requirements for semiconductor equipment systems and components
• Lead concept and feasibility studies
• Lead multi-disciplinary development teams
• Lead reviews of designs that are critical to the success of high volume products
• Perform analysis of mechanical systems, including Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
• Review system level documentation such as interconnects, process and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) and portmaps
• Write test plans, conduct testing and interpret test results
• Serve as an expert resource for a product or technical area
• Lead problem solving teams including root cause identification, brainstorming and conceptual development
• Create presentations for customers and executive management
• Provide on-the-job training (OJT) for other engineers

Other Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or 8 years with a Master's degree or 5 years with a PhD
• Strong 3D CAD skills, especially Creo or NX
• Demonstrated success leading product development teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Semiconductor industry experience is not required, but a plus
