YOUR ROLE
Produce batches according to batch sheet instructions with a level of mastery with no management direction in 1 to 3 of the 5 areas of the batching process. Mastery must be shown over a period of 6 months to 1year.
Level of mastery indicates a Right the First Time at or above the average of the compounding department
Level of mastery also includes efficiency in making batches.Compounder must be at or above the Performance Metric for these areas
Perform all essential functions of the role or roles defined as required during the hiring and training process.These roles could include filler operator, machine operator, material handler or similar roles required in other departments.
Willing to train others in their areas of mastery.
Proficiently perform all essential duties of both Central Weigh Technician and Operations Technician roles
Transfer batches to portables / drums / storage tanks and complete inventory transactions.
Produce batches in an efficient manner to accommodate cycle time and quality goals.
Perform in-process checks to eliminate batch adjustments and bring the product into desired specification range.
Deliver raw materials from staging, bulk, or warehouse to production tanks.
Deliver raw materials to production tanks and central weigh within procedure.
Organize raw materials in all department locations
Maintain orderliness, cleanliness, and accessibility of all departmental inventory areas and work areas in accordance with standards.
No other areas in need of improvement in respect to attendance or disciplinary actions.
Investigate and help resolve raw material inventory inaccuracies.
Your Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Good math skills essential.
No bending or lifting restrictions.
Must be able to perform all tasks of lower grade levels in the Compounding Department.
The position is in the factory and could involve standing, walking, and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
