Job Description:
Specific Tasks:
- Instruct basic or beginner group exercise classes.
- Effectively communicate with clients and physically able to demonstrate proper form and technique related to fitness center activities and proper use of Equipment.
- Provide fitness services described in AFMC’s and MEI’s Wellness/Fitness Guidelines and Administrative Policies under the direction of a Wellness/Fitness Coordinator or Program Manager. Provide daily routine maintenance of existing exercise equipment.
- Notify facility management when necessary (in the absence of the Coordinator) regarding facility cleanliness and repair.
- Ensure that supplies, equipment, files and client records are maintained in properly secured storage.
- Provide basic operational and budget tracking reports as needed to the WF Coordinator or Program Manager.
- Provides excellent written and oral communication skills when working with internal and external customers.
