Job Description:

ECI is seeking a talented Software Developer to join our MarkSystems dev team in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.
 

As a Software Developer for ECI Software Solutions, you will create and maintain new and existing software applications. You will be a key member of a development team designing, coding, testing, documenting, installing, and maintaining software that enables businesses to operate effectively and competitively. You will be working in a small group led by a practiced Development Lead who has the experience needed to help ensure success of all team members.

Core Responsibilities:
• Maintain existing functionality and develop new features in our core ERP product
• Work within an agile scrum team to estimate and clear backlog items

Core Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or experience in leu of education
  Strong problem solving and analytical skills.


• Background in Java programming language.


• SQL background required.


• Good understanding of core programming techniques - abstraction, encapsulation, scope,
  classes, objects, recursion, generics, etc.
