The Associate Head Coach for Wrestling supports the head coach in the planning and operation of the Wrestling program. This includes supporting preparation and planning efforts for practice and events; evaluating performances; and making recommendations to the head coach regarding individual participation in events. The Associate Head Coach also has recruiting responsibilities, to identify, encourage and evaluate application and acceptance of student athletes at Cornell in accordance with the Ivy League, NCAA and University policies as assigned by the head coach.

Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or other formal four-year training program in a related field with at least 2 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and playing/coaching experience

  • Credentials should reflect proven success in coaching, recruiting, and in working with student athletes

  • Knowledgeable of NCAA rules

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of successful NCAA coaching experience
