The Forecasting Analyst plays a key role in the Forecasting practice within the Enterprise Workforce Management (WFM) Organization. This position will be responsible to build and maintain short and long-term forecast models that predict workload and staffing requirements for front and back-office business lines. Forecast Analysts work diligently to achieve forecast accuracy and follow reforecast criteria as needed. This position includes cross-functionality with Performance Analytics, Scheduling, and Intraday Management practices within the WFM Organization.

How you will make an impact:


  • Maintain the statistical forecast model and account for trend changes due to seasonal variations and other operational variables to stay within forecast accuracy targets for front and back-office business lines.

  • Execute forecasts for back-office business lines, including, processing times, deadlines, aging, shrinkage, etc.

  • Maintain forecast vs. actual trend model for forecast accuracy and staffing models to allow for resource capacity planning across multiple sites and business lines.

  • Inform WFM Scheduling Analysts of the workload forecast and required staffing for schedule creation.

  • Partner with Scheduling, Performance, and Intraday Analysts regarding forecast variables, inputs, outputs, and reforecast criteria.

  • Utilize data analytics and trends for forecast and staffing model variables; conduct 'What-If Scenarios' as needed for various forecast and staffing model scenarios.

  • Recommend efficiency opportunities for front and back-office business lines and provide inputs for the WFM Efficiency model that tracks and converts implemented WFM recommendations into cost savings.

  • Provide inputs for monthly and quarterly business reviews for stakeholders by collecting, analyzing, summarizing data to drive continuous improvement.

  • This list is not all-inclusive and you are expected to perform other duties as requested or assigned.

What we look for:


  • 2+ of relevant experience w/Bachelor's degree.

  • 2+ years of Workforce Management experience specific to Forecasting; 1+ years of Workforce Management experience specific to Scheduling and Intraday Management, including experience building forecast and staff models in Excel; Experience with Workforce Management systems (e.g., Aspect eWFM, NICE IEX, etc.) and contact center functionality, reporting, and analytics (e.g., IVR, ACD, WFM, etc.)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to be highly collaborative and solution-focused.

  • Advanced in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.

  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in a variety of matters.

  • Time management and organizational skills; ability to multi-task and to manage priorities and workflow.

  • Ability to accurately prepare and maintain records, files, and reports.
