The role of the Quality Engineer is to improve Customer Satisfaction, and support/ lead plant Quality improvements for the Nissan program(s).
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Improving and protecting customer's scorecard (Nissan)
- Responding to customer portals for corrective actions
- Provide engineering support to resolve customer concerns
- Identify root cause and corrective action for quality concerns
- Work with plant production team and drive improvements
- Support new product launches with Engineering team
- Support APQP team for plant quality documents to customers/ Quality contact for APQP
- Provide guidance and support to plant APQP technician
- Other duties as assigned
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- 3+ years related experience in the Automotive industry
- Demonstrated leadership and trouble-shooting abilities
- Adapt into our culture (Guiding Principles/ MBM)
What Will Put You Ahead
- Strong knowledge of quality systems (Ex.: IATF 16949, ISO 9001 or TS 16949)
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing
- Engineering Degree
- Experience with Nissan, Honda, Toyota, Ford, and General Motors
