Overview

This is a full-time career opportunity that is based out of our Willow Street location in Lebanon, PA.

The primary responsibility of this position is to monitor, review and analyze transaction information and alert reports to identify fraudulent activity, conduct research and determine level of risk to FFC and its customers. This position will independently initiate mitigation action with impact up to $5,000 and provides analytical support to broader, more complex investigations under direction by a Senior Investigator or Management. This position will require occasional travel.

Responsibilities

Monitor and review system generated reports reporting unusual account activities, perform investigation to determine fraud risk
• Initiate mitigation procedures such as account-lock outs, claim payment or rejection, fund-holds, and referral to law enforcement


• Document alerts and investigative activities in accordance with established department policy, escalate more complex issues as appropriate


• Source, compile and prepare fraud incident and trend data in support of larger investigations or departmental initiatives


• Recognize fraud trending indicative of fraud ring activity and escalate to management.


• Determine liability through application of regulatory guidance, advise business partners on established policies and procedures, testify on behalf of bank as required

Qualifications

Required Education

Bachelor Degree or equivalent Experience

Required Experience

6 to 12 months experience in Financial Services
