GeospatialTechnical Solutions Consultantwillsupport multipleclientsas their primary interface fordeveloping,publishing, and sustaining Enterprise GISdatabases,software,and web servicesin bothon-premisesand Cloudconfigurations,developingarchitecture diagrams,designing technical solutions using multiple components of ArcGIS Enterprise,and implementing Enterprise GISsolutionsfollowing establishedbest practices andconsidering optimaldata management workflowsin an AGILE work environment.


Qualifications:



  • Minimum of three (3) years of professional work experience in software engineering, cloud,on-premises,or clientsolutions architect, technical solutions consultant, full stack or front-end development or similar field.

  • Minimum of one (1) year of client facing professional experience with:


    • At least one of:Java, C#,Python, Go, JavaScript/ES6/node.js


  • U.S. citizenship

  • Securityclearance or ability to obtain.

  • Experience in the following areas:


    • Administering and developing content for AGOL

    • SQL Server databases andArcSDE

    • ArcGIS Web AppBuilder, Experience Builder,StoryMapsand Dashboards

    • Architecting, designing, developing, and implementing Enterprise GIS solutions using Windows-based server platforms and ArcGIS Enterprise software suite.

    • using ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise software components, including Portal for ArcGIS, version 10.7 or higher

    • Perform geospatial data integration, conversion, or manipulation using SQL Server or Python scripting tools.

    • Cloud technologies for hosting geospatial solutions.

    • Building and deploying deliverables for client-facing projects in a virtualizedcloud or client services


  • Certifications and advanced degrees are highly desired, such as,


    • Cloud Certifications, Agile

    • ESRI certifications


  • Willingness to undergo a background, verification, pre-employment, drug screening process.

  • Experience preferred in the following areas or using these tools:


    • Deep understanding of Esri best practices and latest offerings in Esri solution stack, including ArcGIS Field Maps, ArcGIS Solutions, ArcGIS Indoors, and ArcGIS Hub.

    • ArcGIS Insights

    • Trimble surveying equipment or other GPS solutions

    • Planning and supporting an Enterprise GIS and multi-user editing environment.



Responsibilities:



  • Consulting work across initial assessment, planning, deployment, and optimization,successfully deliver best-in-class platforms for our clients and affect change throughout their enterprises.

  • Technical consulting with new and existing customers, with a focus ongeospatialsolutions,includingbuilding and delivering hosted systems, applications, and migrations for customers.

  • Write, refactor, and optimize new or existing solutions to create fast, easy-to-use, production applications.

  • Deploy software and solutionstoon-premises, orcloud infrastructure in a repeatable way.

  • Contributetechnical specificationsand diagramsforscopes of work and reasonable work estimates that you and the Woolpert team can use to win and deliver customer projects.

  • Designs, implements, and tests configuration changes in packaged software such as ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise and Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle RDBMS to meet end user business requirements and implement advanced Enterprise GIS platforms and solutions. Develops or coordinates development of operational dashboards, map viewers, data discovery tools, focused or custom applications, and data editing solutions using Portal for ArcGIS and other web technologies.

  • Analyzes, troubleshoots and resolves problems with Enterprise GIS system architecture, databases, applications and web services; communicates with internal and external technical resources to resolve end user issues; provides guidance to users on methods for correcting reported problems.

  • Collaborates with other technical leads, such as system architects, portal administrators, database administrators, applications developers, etc., and pursues continuing education opportunities to stay current with industry's Enterprise GIS software, capabilities and solutions.

  • Proven experience providing excellent customerservice.

  • Strong technical proficiency required, including Microsoft Office products

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a dynamic environment

  • Strong organizational, time management, attention to detail and analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment; offer constructive feedback and direction to support goalsand mentor other teammembers.

  • Demonstrates ability to keep up with the pace of changing technologies through collaboration with other technical experts, access to news feeds or professional publications, and the pursuit of continuingeducation.
