We are seeking a BSA Analyst to join our team.The BSA Analyst works directly with the Vice President/BSA/AML Compliance Officer in order to support the department in maintaining regulatory compliance and appropriate controls of the Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Program.

Primary Responsibilities:

• 
  Review and understand internal cash reports for potential Currency Transaction Reporting.
  


• 
  Complete and submit accurate and timely Currency Transaction Reports.
  


• 
  Process alerts generated by AML monitoring systems, including the identification of unusual/suspicious activity through reviewing/analyzing account activity.
  


• 
  Prepare case write up reports and recommend whether to file a SAR.
  


• 
  Conduct periodic account/customer reviews for customer due diligence purposes.
  


• 
  Process a variety of Watch List Alerts, including OFAC, FinCEN 314a, USA PATRIOT Act Section 311 (Special Measures).
  


• 
  Maintain an understanding of AML regulations, red flags, current money laundering schemes and investigative techniques.
  


• 
  Achieve and sustain a high level of quality, accuracy and efficiency in all BSA/AML and OFAC matters.
  


• 
  Work with peer analysts on projects as directed by BSA Compliance management.
  


• 
  Performing all assigned duties under Bank's BSA compliance programs and related laws &regulations.
  


• 
  Successfully completing all mandatory training on related Bank's and BSA compliances as well as other laws and regulations.
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Minimum 1+ years of banking experience required.
  


• 
  Bachelor's/Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  


• 
  Prior BSA/AML experience with working knowledge of regulation preferred.
  


• 
  Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and judgement skills, with the ability to make sound and reasonable decisions based on analytical data.
  


• 
  Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast paced, high volume environment.
  


• 
  Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment.
  


• 
  Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  


• 
  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Work, Excel, PowerPoint).
