SUMMARY

Cherokee Nation Management & Consulting is seeking a Facilities Assistant/Runner to perform multiple responsibilities in support of operational staff and our customer. The successful applicant will assist operational staff in delivering supplies, facilitating group meeting locations, provide directions, ensure entry policy compliance, and respond to questions on location assignments using provided rosters/assignments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Monitor entry badging process
  • Work with security personnel to verify employee access
  • Review and Validate equipment authorization list
  • Coordinate meeting points for personnel
  • Pushing laundry carts, lifting/moving water bottles
  • Assisting in the Stores where necessary
  • Answering radio calls to assist the facilities managers
  • Escorting visitors, drive company vehicle(s) off site as needed
  • Answer questions on daily work location/assignments from provided documents
  • Provide directions for arriving/departing staff
  • Assist with delivery of goods, paperwork, and other items as required

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

None

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid Drivers License

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong communication skills; bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Ability to rapidly answer questions using provided documents
  • Understand and enforce policies and procedures
  • Ability to lift/move 50 lbs
  • Walk up to 5-10 miles per shift

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Employee will stand for extended periods of time in an outdoor area
  • The ability to pass 10 year criminal background check is required
