Job Description:

The Basel Measurement & Analytics (BM&A) group within CIO Treasury is responsible for calculating, analyzing, and reporting firmwide RWA for market risk, wholesale credit risk, and retail risk stripes. The RWA measures feed into corporate functions to quantify and determine regulatory capital requirements and support external regulatory filings and disclosures. BM&A is responsible for the business requirements to develop and manage the Basel infrastructure and ensure calculations are in compliance with internal capital policy and guidance. In addition, BM&A supports ancillary activities to perform impact analysis on methodology changes driven by new rule proposals, support RWA component of CCAR, Resolution & Recovery, Pillar 3 Disclosure, and Quantitative Impact Studies (QIS) for regulatory agencies.

The newly formed Controls team will centralize control activities across all Risk Stripes within BM&A, supporting each individual team in their unique needs from a reporting perspective as it pertains to the control framework.

The candidate's key responsibilities include a combination of the following:


  • Organize and track Sox Testing (and perform some portion)
  • Organize and track Implementation Guidance Reviews
  • Organize and track quarterly Technology flow reviews
  • Be a UT Champion and perform UT consistency testing
  • Organize and track SOP updates
  • Support BCCC Basel Capital Central Committee documentation
  • Own daily email update during Quarter End
  • Support PwC audit
  • Perform consistency review/testing across adjustment catalogs for categorization
  • DQM issue acceptance tracking, opening and coordination
  • RDR tables - helping to coordinate prior to Month End production
  • Basel/Gauss/CD - Access approval
  • Capital Desktop 90 days inactivity access reminders

Education

  • Degree in a Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.

Experience/Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in finance, risk, internal/external audit, consulting or related field
  • Experience with working in a highly regulated environment and setting up controls and governance processes
  • Prior Audit, User Tool &/or Basel regulatory capital experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills, being flexible to handle multiple tasks at the same time and prioritize the tasks in order of importance
  • Self-starter who actively contributes to team, and thrives in a continuously changing and evolving environment with a focus on efficiency and quality
  • Ability to quickly grasp concepts, learn processes and execute on deliverables in a timely manner
  • Excellent technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including extensive experience using PowerPoint to create polished Executive Reports and/or Tableau
