Job Description:

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure the design and implementation adherence to JPMC standards, controls, policies and procedures.
• Remain current on IT trends pertaining to their area of practice (e.g., Public Cloud, Agile, DevOps, Microservices, Serverless etc.)
• Determine and implement build versus buy strategies, mentor personnel, and views of the overall business strategy.
• Facilitates collaboration among disparate teams and leverages existing and new relationships

Experience with the following:

• Demonstrate expert knowledge in private, public and hybrid cloud architecture, workload types, migration patterns and tools.
• Hands-on experience with various enterprise technology services, as well as software development, compliance and security, and IT operations disciplines.
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture, design patterns, cloud operations and cloud cost models with hands-on ability to implement best practices or suggest improvements.
• Advocate and define cloud architecture vision from a strategic perspective, including private and public cloud platforms, tools, and system.
• Experience with IaC automation platforms, e.g., Terraform, Terraform Sentinel, AWS Cloud Formation, or similar.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture practices, principles and frameworks
• Knowledge of application development methodologies
• Understanding of Information Security and Risk management.
• Understanding of Containerized application development specifically using Docker/Kubernetes
• Understanding of Microservices, Serverless, SOA, and/or client/server systems

Basic Qualifications

• Accredited degree in computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience spanning at least two IT disciplines, including technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or operations
• Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments
• Experience working in financial services industry preferred
• Any Cloud solution architecture and information technology related certificate is a plus, e.g., AWS, Google, Azure, ISC2, TOGAF, ITIL etc.
