Job Description:

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a uniquely talented and proven Product Executive (MD) - Treasury Services Foreign Exchange (TSFX) - North America Product Management and Global Product Delivery. TSFX provides a comprehensive suite of Cross-Currency Solutions to large corporate, financial institutions, commercial bank, and retail clients. TSFX is an integrated part of Wholesale Payments and works seamlessly with JPMorgan's Markets franchise for FX execution.

The Product Management function broadly focuses on a range of business activities including deep product understanding, product development execution, day-to-day management along with maintaining standards of risk mitigation and controls for the product suite to ensure the business maintains client focused delivery of market viable, profitable and operationally supported solutions.

This person will align with Sales, Operations, Technology and other product partners in the Wholesale Payments business to deliver one unified, FX product experience to clients. The Product Executive will formulate the vision for a long term market exceeding client experience, ensuring that we deliver a product that will match our client's current and future needs.

This candidate will deliver a robust roadmap using their expertise in product management, customer & client experience, business engineering, technical architecture, and agile delivery. The ideal candidate understands modern technology stacks (UI frameworks, API's, microservices, etc.), design thinking (client journey, UX / UI, moments of truth), payments (e/m-commerce, subscription, marketplace) and foreign exchange (cross border payments, receipts and passive hedging solutions).

The ideal candidate is a highly-organized and self-motivated leader who designs customer-obsessed products, manages a product release plan, flexibly adapts to internal & market forces, and has superior influencing / relationship management skills.

Role of the FX Product Executive:


  • Work across the Wholesale Payments organization as well as the Markets' FX franchise to ensure a consistent and client focused approach for delivery of a suite of Cross-Currency Solutions
  • Drive the regional product agenda and ensure key client needs are prioritized
  • Manage an integrated and consistent global product delivery model
  • Engage with the Sales and Product teams to understand client needs and validate product concepts
  • Understand and analyze industry trends with FX payments and cash management, risk and regulatory developments, and competitive landscape
  • Prioritize client needs/demands based on opportunity



Competencies:

  • Extensive knowledge of Treasury Services and Foreign Exchange, in particular corporate specific treasury workflows
  • A thorough understanding of Treasury functions and how clients interact with payment and FX products
  • Established leadership experience across multiple functional areas
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to motivate and drive tactical execution
  • Demonstrated client facing experience with internal and external stakeholders
  • The ability to interact with Sales and clients to extract product needs and opportunities for enhancement coupled with the innovative insight to translate those needs into scalable innovative product solutions and opportunities
  • A deep understanding of and proven experience with product management and delivery principles
  • The ability to lead development based projects from start through finish; build and socialize requirements; partner across various product and technology teams; create, manage and execute integrated project plans
  • The ability to provide clear and independent direction to the technology team to drive the development agenda
  • Experience with the commercialization of new products: support readiness, marketing collateral, successful pilot and launch to BAU

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of transaction banking, cross-border payments and FX ecommerce channels
  • Proven track record of managing new product launches / transformations of mission-critical payment platforms
  • Proven track record of managing the end-to-end product development lifecycle (PDLC) for complex, large-scale initiatives
  • Strong executive presence; comfortable interacting with and presenting to all levels of management
  • Strong ability to analyze opportunities & problems, recommend solutions, and communicate effectively & confidently (both verbal and written)
  • Strong influencing and partnership / collaboration skills to drive cross-functional teams
  • Ability to productively work in a matrix management organization
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude and inspiring leadership skills a must
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
