Full Stack Java Developer - Associate

JPMorgan Asset Management Fee Billing Technology Team

The team is responsible for managing the technology which is used to calculate fees, generate invoices, and track receivables for Institutional Investment Management Accounts. It also provides various analytics and reporting capabilities to the Fee Billing Operations and Client Service teams globally. The team is looking for an associate level full stack developer to code some of the critical applications, support the business users and work as part of the global team to deliver high value application components.

Job Responsibilities


  • Coding, Compiling, Unit testing, integration, packaging and deployment of developed software
  • Collaborate with the global team in managing deliverables
  • Collaborating with other developers to share development solutions, experiences, challenges and best practices
  • Ensure overall quality of deliverables is consistent with defined standards and Agile development practice
  • Support, analyze and resolve production issues when necessary

Technical Experience Requirements

  • >5 years of experience in a financial service environment including working as part of global teams
  • Hands on experience in Java technologies is a must
  • Cloud development with Cloud Foundry is strongly encouraged
  • Experience in building both Web Applications and Core Java processes
  • Hands on experience in Oracle PL/SQL and/or Sybase TransactSQL
  • UI experience with Angular JS 2 or REACT is recommended
  • Knowledge of scheduling jobs and UNIX/Linux scripting is preferred

Financial/Other Requirements

  • Excellent verbal/written communication is a must
  • Knowledge of financial services industry is highly recommended
  • General knowledge of different products and asset classes is required
