Credit Product Delivery & Strategy falls within the Wholesale Payments Product Delivery (WPPD) function within the Commercial Bank. The team owns the central credit product hierarchy across sub-LOBs and client personas in addition to partnering across the sales, credit, legal and operations ecosystems to ensure the seamless delivery and execution of credit products.
Responsibilities
The candidate will provide leadership and support across the Commercial Bank on behalf of the Credit Product Delivery function. The individual will ensure collaboration across the organization to drive the strategic agenda for the group, which includes;
Finalizing the initial product hierarchy for lending products across all sub-LOBs and client personas
Establishing availability, suitability and eligibility guidelines across the entire product catalog
Identifying opportunities for 'product solutions of the future', and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, detail, pilot and oversee execution of initiatives
Managing the data and reporting strategy across credit and loan processing systems with a focus on:
Pricing guidelines and analysis
Product simplification opportunities
Exposure / capital savings
Reducing the operational risk of credit products by identifying opportunities to standardize the product offering
Designing the target state process across stakeholders by enhancing internal platforms and analyzing the capabilities of external vendors
The candidate will report directly to the Head of Credit Product Delivery and will be expected to lead projects autonomously while also contributing to the growth of the rest of the team.
Qualifications
10+ years relevant experience
Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree preferred
Previous expertise and a true passion for design thinking, digital transformation and technology innovation, with proven success designing and delivering complex, digital and product initiative
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with multiple deliverables across both short and long term delivery dates
Strong project management skills; well-organized, structured approach; ability to achieve tight timelines on complex deliverables
Demonstrated strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills; experience communicating with all levels of the organization
Combination of strong analytical skills and creative problem solving - able to turn analysis into actionable insights and plans
Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Prior experience with Credit, Commercial Real Estate and/or Wholesale Payments products preferred, specifically in a product management or transformation role
