Title: Sales Training Development Coordinator- 74459

Your Responsibilities

As a Sales Training Development Coordinator for Precision Ag Technologies located in either Des Moines or Olathe, you will d evelop and execute training or performance improvement materials in support of products, processes, or systems.

In addition, you will:


  • Update existing curriculum to ensure all content is up to date and current
  • Support the execution of the Precision Ag Challenge
  • Work to ensure clear communication is in place for all content and classes, leaving nothing unknown to key stakeholders
  • Participates in a curriculum development and updates to ensure performance gaps are addressed in an analysis phase and contributes in design of a performance improvement solution
  • Assists in the transition of developed materials to the group responsible for delivering the materials and in marketing efforts of performance improvement materials to their intended audiences.
  • Will execute presentation and instructional delivery on a limited basis throughout the year

What Skills You Need


  • Basic Microsoft Application utilization - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook
  • Knowledge of dealers and other channels. - Has a general understanding of the principles and uses the knowledge with assistance.
  • Knowledge of heavy machinery dealer business practices, ideally including the practices followed at Ag and Turf dealerships. - Has a general understanding of the principles and uses the knowledge with assistance.
  • Willingness to travel. - Up to 25%
  • Project management knowledge with the ability to handle multiple projects and/or tasks.
  • Interpersonal communications, negotiation, and the ability to come to resolutions

What Makes You Stand Out


  • Experience within a John Deere (or similar company) functional area
  • Ag Dealer experience, preferablyin the Precision Ag Technologies area
  • Strong communication skills with significant presentation experience
  • Product Line Marketing experience
  • Experience working with or applying Precision Ag Technologies

Education

Ideally,you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:


  • Bachelor's Degree in an Education discipline or equivalent experience
