Title: Scrum Master - Dealer Management Systems- 73565

As aScrum Masterfor John Deere located in Moline, IL, you willserve as the "servant leader" of a scrum team by removing impediments and helping the team remain successful and on schedule. In addition, you will:


  • Responsible for teaching and enforcing the values and principles of Agile, while promoting self-organization and constantly improving our standards of work
  • Drive tactical team-level improvement as part of the scrum process
  • Understand business strategy, objectives and technology to ensure development work is prioritized by business value, work is aligned with objectives and help the team overcome development roadblocks.
  • Work independently receiving oversight during critical decision points or issues
  • Select tool, framework, and methodologies for team-level activities, within established guidelines
  • Manage one scrum team; facilitate efforts of large and complex features that may involve integrating the work of 1-2 teams
  • Understand a business unit's products, services and basic business processes, and help determine the role the team can play to support their success

What Skills You Need (Required skills/experiences)


  • Understanding of Agile Development process, methodology/tools
  • Proven ability & technical knowledge to coordinate & deliver technical solutions
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical terms
  • Understanding of the technologies & architecture of the product area
  • Possesses familiarity with multiple technologies, development methods and systems, and a basic understanding of programming languages
  • Recognized Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology discipline
