Reports to the Executive Director Quality and PI. Concurrently abstracts and manages core measure medical record charts efficiently and timely to maximize patient care. Performs internal and external data analysis. Maintains integrity of data for assigned core measures, overseeing data collection process ensuring data integrity, analysis, and reporting.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
The knowledge, skills, and abilities as indicated below are normally acquired through the successful completion of an Associate's Degree or professional training. RN license in the State of Indiana is required. Up to one year experience is required. Five years healthcare experience, with preferably at least two years in data management, outcome management and measurements. Technical skills including Oracle clinical or other relational databases, Microsoft office (Word, Access, Excel) a plus. After January 1, 2014, candidates are required to have or obtain a BSN within three years of employment as a Registered Nurse.
Knowledge & Skills
Working knowledge of medical terminology and the healthcare field.
Demonstrates organizational and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrates a basic understanding of medical practitioners and their preferred methods of communicating and improving quality.
Working knowledge of computer hardware and software including desktop applications, Clinical Data Management applications and tools.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
Must be able to maintain composure when dealing with physicians and hospital staff.
