If you are a  professional Operations Analyst looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  Based in our Ontario, Ohio location, you will discover opportunities for continuous improvement projects within the plant, provide project support incuding project scope and requirements, analyzing operations and documenting results. Problem solving expertise and demand planning for sales and operations are also key components of this role. AS AN OPERATIONS ANALYST, YOU WILL: 


  • Operational Excellence opportunity analysis and continue improvement project support.
  • Develops problem solutions by studying system capabilities and by analyzing alternative solutions.
  • Identifies project requirement by interviewing customers, analyzing operations, determining project scope and documenting results.
  • S&OP Demand Planning (also includes MOR and waterfall analysis).
  • Business Decision and Perfect Execution analysis as required by facility Operations Manager.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Five years business analytical experience in manufacturing environment.

  PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:  

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Five years business analytical experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office suite proficiency.
  • High skill level with Excel required.
  • Oracle experience required.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision and handle multiple duties with all operations areas as needed.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
  • Proven problem-solving skills
