Please note: this opportunity is for a temporary assignment through CHOP's Internal Talent Mobility program.
This position will rotate to Philadelphia, Bucks County, King of Prussia, and Abington specialty care centers. Possible rotation to New Jersey sites. Under the direction of the Senior Orthopedic technician and/or orthopedic physician, performs all duties related to the application and removal of casts. Assists with skeletal or skin traction placement and removal. Maintains orthopedic equipment. Participates in billing procedures.
Required Education: High School/GED
Preferred Education: Some college
Preferred Experience:
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs required.
