Job Description Summary

This position leads and manages the strategic sourcing, contract administration, vendor relationship management and overall operations for all Procurement activities across the full range of construction projects on a Client account. This position is highly visible within internal and external stakeholders and will be client-facing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Manage the Procurement relationship with Client,C&WAccount Management,C&W ProcurementCategory Management,C&W Risk,C&W Legal, Suppliers, and other keystakeholders.

  • Analyze account-wideconstruction and constructionservices spend, suppliers, operations and statement of works to identify opportunities for valuecreation.Developand implement a procurement strategy based on the identified opportunities.

  • Develop and facilitate multiple Tools and Templates to facilitate sourcing activity: RFQs, RFPs, analyze responses,negotiateand use other techniques as required.

  • Provide evaluation and recommendation on project sourcing and contracting strategy to Project Managers to support obtaining appropriate client approval on Project Spend.

  • Lead the execution of vendor contracts within the C&W and Client delegation of authority.

  • Support Contract Administration for all project vendors from initiation through close out.

  • Support contractual escalations arising from projects, and guide all parties to a beneficial conclusion.

  • Interpret contracts,negotiatewith vendors and ensure appropriate contractual records retention.

  • Advise management regarding contractual matters and engage in effective use of Legal and Risk Departments.

  • Develop and maintain a suite of procurement and contracting templates to support ongoing needs of project management teams.

  • Develop and maintain an internal audit process to validate compliance with key contractual terms.

  • Maintainorganizedrecords to ensure any implemented system of checks and balances are being continually met for contracts and additional compliance items.

  • Maintainorganizedrecords and establish tracking to manage the workflow of multiple concurrent sourcing events.

  • Ensure compliance with C&W and Client policies, processes, tools and templatesfor all projects.

  • Participate at appropriate level and frequency in all meetings.

  • Generate and distribute all necessary and requested reports.

  • Resolve issues from the client with respect to supplier performance and quality of service

  • Perform other miscellaneous related duties as assigned

  • Lead and manage supporting personnel to ensure comprehensive contract administration over the lifecycle of all projects.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE


  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is required..

  • 5+ years' experience inCommercial Real Estate and Construction with relevant exposure to Procurement/StrategicSourcing disciplines.

  • Familiarity and expertise in construction contracting methodology to ensure appropriate support for the strategic goals of the project are deployed.

  • Must possess legal knowledge, ability to prepare/negotiateagreements and amendments, and the ability to explain to client the specifics of the contracts.

  • Must possessanalyticalandquantitative skillswith ability to analyze and interpret information, data and related documentation.

  • Ability to communicateeffectively with all levels of management

  • Self-motivatedand work independently to find solutions

  • Detail-orientedwith stronganalyticalskills

  • Strongorganizationskills with theflexibilityto handle multiple tasks

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional dynamic office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. It is a fluid environment in terms of daily location. Must be flexible to work from various locations and types of office space.
